BMX lever on drops/bullhorns?

Would a BMX lever work on drops or bullhorns? Namely this one.

Probably not for drops. These levers are probably meant for "mountain" diameter bars (7/8"). Drops are almost always "road" diameter (15/16").

Bullhorns are generally road diameter as well, though the ones I have on my bike are 7/8. I have no idea how common this is.

Someone will chime in with the correct metric equivalents for the above fractional inch measures, undoubtedly.
