Performance running special for Team Performance Member

On this following weekend (7th & 8th), if you make a purchase online or BM with your TP account, you can double the reward points.

I received a postcard couple of days ago

Yeah, they said whether a phone order, online, or using the catelog, it's double points. I was going to get a roller, so I may just meander on over there and see what they've got. Double points for a purchase like that might net me a new bike!

Does anybody else have problems ordering from the Performance web site? I've had to enter orders twice, despite getting confirmation e-mails, and the "order status" feature seldom seems to have current info.

No problems here either, although my two-day shipping upgrade ended up taking three to actually get the item. No big deal though, I wasn't expecting to use my trainer till winter anyhow.

OK, it finally showed up on the "order status" page after a couple days. Might arrive Friday if I'm lucky...

OK, well, my order came in 4 days, which is fine.

Hmmmm...another problem - I don't seem to be getting credited with any new points, and my team number is never on my shipping invoices. Do you not get points if you use a coupon code? What's the conversion rate - is 1 point equal to 1 cent? Are they supposed to get credited points immediately after a purchase, or only after a waiting period?

Also, they never tell you what the extra shipping charge to AK and HI is while ordering. The shipping charge on the order page is for the continental 48, and then they tack on some extra amount later on. My shipping charge went from $10.50 to $20.50!

You have to type in your team number somewhere along the line. When I go to their website I sign in as a Team Member each visit. 1 point is 1 cent. I have always been credited when the merchandise has been shipped.

Yeah I had to enter the team number to start processing an order. Otherwise I wouldn't have received the 2nd-day upgrade. However I didn't get any points for the last two purchases, as of this morning. Also for some strange reason you have to log into the website account and the team performance account separately - they aren't linked. I changed my address on the web site account several months ago but I still get the team performance junkmail at my old address. Their system just isn't very well thought out.

Another gripe is the credits you get in the store and on the web site aren't interchangeable, but it might just be too hard for them to coordinate the two systems.

That's strange. I get the credits from both the store AND the website. I've gotten serious points from the double points in the past from going to the store, then following up with website orders from what I can't find in the store.

When I opened the Team Performance membership in the Performance store back in Denver I got some coupons from the store - about $40 in credits, but I couldn't figure out how to use them on the website, so I just gave them to my ex since there aren't any Performance stores here. Perhaps there's a way to do it that I don't know about. Dang, I hope they aren't sending me more of those coupons instead of website credits. :/

I am a Team Performance member. I placed my order on Sunday. My account has only been credited with "single" points not the double points. My order has not yet been processed. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Has anybody else received only "single" points and not the double points?

I signed up for TP and placed an order on Sunday and I can't get either to show up as an order. I have confirmation emails but nothing shows on the site.

Might be about time for a phone call.

I have been a loyal Team member for a long time, but lately their service is in the toilet. My last two orders have been held up because their system changes my zipcode to my old address so it doesn't match the credit card, although the email confirmation of the order show the correct address. When an order is held up, they don't call you to let you know, they just let it sit there. One of the orders "is not in their system" accourding to customer service but I have the email confirmation with the order number and all the details. I have sent four emails to customer service with zero replies. I have left my phone number with their custormer service department for a supervisor to call me back which they never have. I sent one email to the web manger dept. to try and correct the zipcode proplem and they never responded.

I think I am done with Performance. Ya I liked their products and the two day delivery but they just don't know how to run an online business. I'd rather pay a little more to do business with professionals.

Well I loged on to the site and all of a sudden it was showing that I had an order but had no other info, checked my other order and it was all there, checked the first one again and it was all there but was pending...refreshed and then 3/4 of the items had shipped yesterday one was pending and another was out of stock. Well at least I know now and my stuff will be here this week.

If they send you the certificates, can you use them for phone orders, or just at the store. I called yesterday to check on my points, & they said since the certificates had been sent, couldn't use them online. Never thought to ask about phone orders.

What really bites, is that I drove 4 hrs one way to buy the bike this past weekend, was going to place an order last night but didn't, now most of the points are gone because evidently their sending out the certificates.

Yep, I called customer service and they said there are two distinctly different kinds of memberships: "retail" and "mail-order". I had them change me from the retail store Tem Performance membership to the mail-order/web Team Performance membership. I'm not sure if they'll transfer any of the points from my recent orders or not.

My order from Aug. 1 has not yet shipped. Everything is in stock. I chose the regular shipping. Because I'm a member I'm automatically upgraded to 2nd day. I called today and the customer service rep. told me that they've been swamped with orders this summer and seriously underestimated demand.

I just wonder if my order would have been picked and shipped faster if I chose overnight shipping? It's only a few dollars more.

Being busy is no reason not to ship an order for that long... I am also a Team Performance member and placed an order on 8/9 around 1am. The order shipped on 8/10. That is how things usually are. I recieved my order later in the week.

Performance is always quick to ship for me, but they always overcharge me. Last time it was almost $25. They didnt give the discounts for being a Team Performance member. An email got it taken care of at least...
