Imagine that, another first time poster posting all 3 of his first posts in a BD thread.
I'm calling total BS on this entire post based on the fact that UPS doesn't charge $140 to ship a bike anywhere in the continental US. Packed in the largest bike box I have ever seen, the most I have ever paid is $68. Hey dude, I just posted my own experience with BD; that's all. It just happens to have been a very positive one..... and I have no reservation in saying that. |

The $140 (actually $139) came from the UPS website where I entered the dimensions of the box and origination/destination of Detroit - Dallas....check it yourself.

Interesting....that's not what I got when I checked the cost on the UPS site!! Anyway, is that what you cared about - the shipping cost? It wasn't my priority issue. To me, the important thing was the quality of BD's service in handling my purchase/exchange.......which I will repeat again - was EXCELLENT. If you have a different experience with them, it is what it is. My own experience with them has been top notch |
I have four bikes from BD. All satisfactory.

Good service and quality of bike for the money. I recently replaced the stock saddle and will do so with other parts (i.e. drop bars, brakes, wheels/tires, etc.).
