Just wondering. I keep hearing that people have these and wonder if I really should have one myself. Not that anyone would really be all that interested in my daily views on the world, but I'm thinking about it anyway.

It's short for 'weblog' - https://www.blogger.com/start... There's a lot of other places too - just google.

I'd certainly read your blog Chris. It's a great opportunity to express thoughts that don't necessarily relate to cycling.

My blog talks about all kinds of trivial stuff relating to bikes, my family, my faith etc.

There's a real community feel to blogging much the same as there is here at BikeForums.

Go on Chris ... give it a go ... you know you want to.

Everybody should have a blog! I generally use mine to vent, rant, ramble, and otherwise express my general neural overflow. It's a very useful thing. There are many ways to go about having one, too. I use MovableType on my web server (I pay for hosting, I figure I might as well get more use out of it). Click the picture in my sig to see mine.

Yeah, you're right. I've just had a quick read of yours -- quite interesting. Not sure I'd know where to start, but I'll see how it goes. Sheesh, it's not like I'll have anything better to do until the fires are out!

I hate the term blog. I don't really know why. Probably partially because it seems to be yet another yuppie catch phrase, partially because I like to think mine is different (although less interesting than some).

A blog is basically an online diary ... for the 21st century hehe.
Whatever happened to pen and paper?

Some moron around here used them to light big fires which are keeping me off the bike right now. Hence the time to create a blog.
