Maruishi RX-6 Road Bike is it a good deal.

Found this posting on craigslist:

Getting rid of my Maruishi Road Bike. I'm riding my hybrid and mountain bike more these days and figure it needs a new home. Its a great bike, Japanese Steel lugged frame, Shimano SLR components. 53cm frame, I'm 5'8" and it fits well, I suppose it could fit someone a few inches taller or shorter.

The bike will need new tires soon and a normal tune up. Please send me an email if you have any questions or want to set up a time to check it out, I live off of Warm Springs. Thanks!

I'm 5' 9" so I would fit it pretty well, do you guys think it would be a good buy?

Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.

Kind of silly to ask if something is a good deal and not say what the price is.

I found a pic of a Maruishi RX6 and it looks like a late 80s mid level road bike. I would pay maybe $150 - $200 if it is in immaculate condition. Maybe $100 if is is well used. But that is me.

My father had a Maruishi for ages, then gave it to me to use for a while. It went back to him ... and then to Rowan who used it on our wedding century. Now a cousin has it.

It's quite a nice bicycle.
