Help with Tire Valve

I have a Presta valve on my TREK 7000 that the pin fell in on. I also live in Italy and am unsure of any good bike shops as well as what, if anything, that I can do to find the pin inside my tube. I don't really want to replace it but am unsure if there is anything I can do about it. Thanks for the help!

Buy a new tube.

I thought Italians were really into cycling. There surely is no shortage of bike shops. Since all you need is a new tube, you don't even need a good shop - just one with a tube for sale.

did the valve colapse? they are dirt cheep ,a auto valve will do ,if the pin is in the tube feel where it is make a small hole and push it out, patch tube or just replace the valve.

Pray, how does one replace a valve on a tube? How is it "a auto valve will do", presuming by "a auto valve" you mean schrader, and this is a presta? What would one do about the remaining core/stem trundling 'round inside the tube? What good would pushing the core/stem out do, when it obviously won't go back in through the valve body?
