I'm new to the whole scene and just purchased my first road bike. It's an older used bike, nothing fancy just something to get me around and get me started for now.

I'm currently living in NJ but moving to AZ in a month where I plan to do alot of riding.

I'm looking for a good trunk rack(not hitch rack, sorry) under $100 to fit on a '98 VW Jetta with a spoiler. I was looking at the Thule Speedway 961 because according to Thule it fits the Jetta but I was told by someone it will not fit over the spoiler.

I have found one or two that say it will fit cars with spoilers but they seem cheap and I don't want the car getting all scratched up.

Does anyone know if the Delta Cycles Hunch Rack will fit over a spoiler. I like that style, it look safest for the car and I know someone that found one for $80 with some looking around online.

I need a rack to carry two bikes because my gf plans on getting a bike to ride with me when we get to AZ.

333,

Wish I could be of help, but I'm in the process on looking for a carrier for the "bent" I ride (see my post in the recumbent section, entitled Bike Carrier). I'm a transplanted NYC'er living in AZ, what part of AZ are you moving too?

Search this forum and the internet for Saris Bones. You will find that is the most often recommended for your price range, and requirements.

Wow this forum is pretty slow moving. I guess I'm spoiled with my other forums.

Thanks for the replies though, I'll look into the bones.
