MTB Trail I Made
 

Hello everyone.

I made this MTB trail in the woods in my backyard. It's sort of like a race-car road course, but this is obviously too small for a race-car. I'm not sure how long it is though. The outer perimeter probably does not exceed 1/4 mile. I'm not good with drawing or size guesswork, so please bear with me until I can get accurate figures. I would like to draw an awesome aerial representation of this track but As I said I can't draw... So I was thinking maybe using my Dad's GPS to draw the track for me. The Garmin GPS we have draws a line where we traveled. So it's feasible.

Anyway, it's a pretty difficult track, even the kiddy difficulty can be hard (especially when the handlebars get caught on trees...)

The image is a rough representation like I said before, but It's close but no cigar. The top of the image is North, and you know the west (erm, excuse me... make that REST... lol)

The trail goes uphill when going west. and there's a uncountable total of track combinations possible with the current photo. At least 18... I've since made some changes to the track, which could bring the total even higher...

Here it is, and what do you think?

I don't have the kind of energy to do full-fledged mountain bike or road bike excercises, so this track is a good way to get the required excerise in a short time.

Looks fun on paper. How about some pics? And where is this track located? You don't say where you're from.

How many miles (or ths of a mile) is it, when you ride the standard route? (I know you mentioned the outer perimeter being 1/4th, but what about the inside?)

I have a makeshift off-road trail in my yard (and partly on someone else's, hehe); It's about 1/2 mile long in full.

On it, you just dodge some russian olive trees, hop over some fallen logs, go up/down some little hills, through sand, over holes in the ground, etc.
