Comfort Inn in Daytona Beach & Expedia
Just wanted to share...
The MS 150 this year has been reduced here in florida to a one day, 100 mile ride because of the hurricanes. Apparently too many of the hotels in Daytona are damaged from the hurricane, and most rooms are booked because of people that evacuated other places. Before they decided on the reduction, I had already reserved my room at the Comfort Inn in Daytona Beach. I reserved the room through Expedia, and because of the low price there was a no refund policy.
When I went to cancel the room, the lady from EXPEDIA agreed to refund 100% of Expedias fees. She then called the hotel, and the manager agreed to waive 100% of room cost.... SO, even though they simply didn't have to do it, I got a 100% REFUND! This hotel will earn my buisness again soon, as well as Expedia... hopefuly you too will consider using Expedia and this hotel if you ever travel to Daytona.
