mountain bike

I need help picking a mountain bike. I was thinking trek.
Can anyone please tell me a good, decent mountain bike under $310.
Also i am not going to go serious mountain biking and i am about 5' 8'' if that helps?

Giant's mountainbike lineup starts at under $300. They are well made with a good warranty. Check 'em out.
