Rack for Saturn?

I have a 2003 Saturn L series sedan. Anyone have any experience with bike racks for this car? Since I will only transport occasionally, I would like to keep cost at a minimum. Also, the distance to transport will always be less than 60 miles. Looks like a trunk mount might be the way to go, but I can see where they could be a real PITA or maybe not. Somewhere I was told that this car will not accept a receiver type hitch. Ideas?

I currently use a Thule roof rack on my '97 SL2 and I love it. If you think you might use it for other equipment (kayaks, etc), you might consider getting a used one on the cheap, because it makes life so easy. Before I had that, I used a cheapo, off-brand trunk mount and just bungeed the hell out of the bike. Worked fine, even for long trips. There is a little piece of metal under my rear bumper that is suitable for attaching a cable and a lock for when you are on the road and have to stop now and then.
