If you are willing to drill a few holes in the bed you can do this.

The mounts are out of the way and super easy to use. Cost was hardly anything and I used stainless steel bolts.

Thanks again KevinV!!!!

This took all of about 5 minutes. I removed the Delta hitch that I had on the top of the bed immediately behind the cab. Those holes measured the exact same distance apart as the holes in the expansion increments for load hauler I picked up from Harbor Freight Tools :D Mounted it with some spare bolts, washers and nuts. Extended the bar to the bed width of my truck and whammo! It's installed.

I took some pics but they are too large to upload.

Total invested. $12 for the load hauler. $19 years ago for the delta trap. Nuts and bolts were spares from the toolbox.

Here's what I do, but I suppose it's cheating since this is a feature of the new Tacoma! Toyota Rules!
