Dozens of companies use tubular locks for bike locks, gun locks, and other uses. Only ONE company has taken the picking problem seriously, and that is Kryptonite. By the way, a local locksmith showed me how quickly a skilled person can pick most flat key locks. There is a good reason that tubular locks became popular.

umm...we were talking about the most lightest most durable frame out there buddy...

World Tour 10-04-04 12:28 PM

Hi folks,
I love bicycles. Could anyone tell me anything about the weight/durability of a Schwinn World Tour. My uncle gave me this bike the other day. It's in EXCELLENT condition. I took it to the bike shop to get the wheels trued and they said it was about 15 years old when Schwinn WAS Schwinn, not huffy. This bike seems to have very high end components, alum. cranks, alum. wheels, chromoly tubes. I put new tires/tubes and it seems like new now. It seems extremely lightweight to me as I can pick it up with one hand and put it on my shoulder like a handbag. I would like to get into some aerobic activity with this bike as I need to lose some weight.

Any info on this bike would be appreciated.

Thanks.
