Newb question - What to do after riding in the rain?
My bike was caught out in the rain for the first time today, so I was wondering what do I have to do maintenance-wise to make sure that there are no negative effects? Or do I have to do anything at all?
I apologize for the newb question, I haven't owned a bike in nearly 15 years, so I'm ignorant.

I rag my bike down and re-oil the drive. Sometimes do a quick rim and pad clean.
If I really soaked out, I tip the bike and let any rain inside the tubes drain (it's chromoly steel.)
A spanky Alu bike just do the drive, wipe the brake system.

I spray WD 40 on the chain. I do this to get the grease and what not to dissolve in the WD 40. I then run the chain through a chain cleaner with simple green degreaser (diluted 'bout 1-1). I clean off the rest of the bike with a water from a hose and in the dirty nasty parts with a tooth brush and degreaser. Usually, I have to scrub the rims with degreaser to get the whatever it is off of them. I relube the chain and it is good to go. This takes 10-15 minutes.

Turn it upside down, dry it off.
Turn it back over, do it again.
WD helps get rid of moisture, use it.
