I was talking wheelbuild at my LBS today and they wound up looking into my idea for a 700c 3/5/8/whatever speed IGH rear wheel build.
Their supplier catalog didn't have everything that I'd found online, so they started digging around the internet behind the counter. When the clerk/wrench/manager started talking about how online there were plenty of grouches who would insist on using nothing but some old vintage Sturmey Archer, I totally knew he was on BF.
It's surprising that the shop-- which is pretty well into vintage steel and has two or three oft ridden ordinarys around wouldn't really have ever built up an IGH road commuter, but maybe I'm starting a trend...
