Backpacks..

anyone use this bag? http://www.deuterusa.com/products/pr...b=&tert=family

Is it ok or should i stay away?

You should stay away from this bag if you're a child under 3.

Other than that, it looks like a fine bag but I haven't personally used it though.

Deuter is a respectible quality brand here in Europe. Similar in qaulity and in some respects, better than Camelbak.

I'm a backpack ***** (I own waaaaay too many of them) but at the same time, I hate wearing a back pack while riding, go figure.

Anyways; did you get a chance to look at this backpack in person? I would not buy a backpack unless I get a chance to inspect it first.

I own their Race X Air pack. I like it...the ventilation system cuts down on the sweating quite a bit.

Just happened to check chainlove and see there's a deuter pack on there.

http://www.chainlove.com/

It's a different model than mine..but it's got more space than my pack and it's 10$ cheaper than I got it for. 20$ cheaper than the same model on Amazon. Figure if you catch it in the next 25 minutes you might want to snag it.

Haven't used Deuter but have tried a few in the past 20 odd years. The only one I really liked was the Camelbacks. Used mainly for the hydration packs but their backpacks are comfortable and come in bigger sizes that I want to use on a bike.
