Something different

I saw something different today. I saw a commercial for Schwinn bicycles on television. I don't remember ever seeing a bicycle commercial on TV before in my life.

Any thoughts??

Not the first bike commercial. More common on non-broadcast TV.

They run bicycle commercials here in Australia quite frequently ... usually bicycle shops, occasionally bicycle brands, and there's one good ad going about being nice to the cyclists on the road.

The last one I remember (although I am sure there have been others) was the Huffy Bandit.http://bmxmuseum.com/image/huffy_ban...wup_blowup.jpg But I stopped watching TV around 1986, so I am sure that I am "missing" out on much advertising.
