I'm looking for a small bag that doesn't cost a fortune that would attach to the rear slots on a Brooks saddle. I just want to be able to carry my keys, a couple of tools and other small things in it. I have the Champion Flyer B-17 with springs so the under saddle bags readily available won't really work. I've seen some new bags coming out from Brooks but they are very expensive. I don't really what material they are made of.

I've successfully used an ordinary wedge pack under a champion Flyer. Just be sure to get the type with a strap that loops through the sadle rails and around underneath the seat bag. The type with a quick release that mounts to the rails usually won't work because a Brooks saddle rails spread apart toward the rear.

If you want larger than a wedge pack, Carradice makes bags in all sizes that can be used with a quick release mounted to the seat post. They're certainly higher priced than an ordinary wedge pack, but much more roomy and retro stylish!

I love their smallish but rather large, compared to a wedge pack, Barley Bag. Or Rivendell's Banana Bag.

I use their small bag with side pockets, the Pendle, almost every day. It's my main commuter bag and all around bag. I also have a Camper for touring and for really big loads.

It is possible to mount a regular wedge (well, a Topeak one at least) on a Brooks - mines a Professional. Simply unscrew the clip from the inside of the pack, put it back on 180 degress from where it was, and attatch the other part to the rails at the flat part before it kicks upwards (immediately behind the seatpost clamp). It's a bit awkward to get on and off, but it works fine.

Thanks for the advice folks. I have a wedgie pack that will go on but it obscures my rear light and I ride a good bit before daylight. I think maybe the brooks may be the only way to go. I guess it's a small price to pay to have a comfortable tush.
