Park Tool Article

There was a sort of interesting article about Park Tool in the Minneapolis Star Tribune the other day. I meant to post this earlier, but I just moved and things have been kind of hectic. Anyway, here's the link:

(you know, I never knew that they were based in the Mpls/St Paul area...learn something new every day, I guess)

There was another blurb that's not really worth linking, but it tells us that Park:

• Sold, with help from 3M, 8 million glueless tire patches when they debuted the product in 1995.

• Does all its own packaging, machining, welding and assembly but contracts some specialty work.

• Possesses its version of a bike museum: Old bikes, dating to the 1930s, hang in the rafters.

Fun facts to know and tell.

As much as I like Park tools, their glueless patches have not served me well. I do, however, carry a couple in case I need more than my spare innertube and my glue runs dry.
