Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in. As one of the OG members of this thread, being back feels like I’m home again.
and I’ll say - in the intervening years, I’ve picked up one of these ^ little grease guns and it’s amazing. I have no idea out the dang thing works, but it does, and it’s a much better experience than a finger in the tub.

There is only one proper grease, Phil Wood waterproof grease, otherwise known as "Phil Grease." This stuff works in hot and cold climates, and like it says, it's "waterproof." I use it on headsets, bottom brackets, and hubs, and it never lets me down.
