What to do?
Hi, What should I do, I sold a Bike , Buyer to collect, High bidder paid straightaway. I arranged to meet him and hand bike over. He didn't show. I 'phoned him and arranged another date. No show again. Left message on his ansaphone, Nothing.from him since. I should say all of this was in August, he actually paid on the 24th August 2010.

Leave a trail of electronic messages documenting your attempt to make good on your deal. Look at you sales contract and see if there are any statute of limitations on the sale or auction. Buyer could be trying to collect on an insurance or some sort of fraud. Was it an ebay sale?

If it was eBay/Paypal transaction I'd refund him and cancel the deal and re-list the bike gain. You should get your eBay fees reversed if you re-list it.
