10 things to never say the night before a ride.

Because those could very well happen to you tomorrow on that ride.

1)I have never broke a deraillieur before.

2)I have not had a flat in well over two years <--Worst one.

3)I am on a hot streak I won't crash.

4)The chain won't break has not broke after the past year and a half.

5)Clipless pedals are easy.

6)I have a bunch of miles in, I won't bonk.

7)I am feeling great, no chance of me being sick in the morning.

8)My frame is tough it won't break.

9)I don't need a pump since I don't flat.

10)There is never huge amounts of obstacles on the selected route.

12) I won't need tights or arm/leg/knee warmers. It's supposed to be sunny and warm tomorrow.

13) I won't need my rain pants and jacket. It's supposed to be sunny and warm tomorrow.

14) I won't need my lights. The ride should only take 6 hours and it's supposed to be sunny and warm tomorrow.

15) I'll be right down in Tassie -- I've never broken a chain before in my life. (actually, I did make that mistake. )

32) Sure, I can ride tomorrow. The wife (spouse, S/O) said were not doing anything.

36. Maybe I should go ahead and lace up that new rim.

37. Rebuilding my fork (bleeding brakes...etc.) shouldn't take any time at all.

39. Nah, I don't need to put any Simple Green on my rims.
40. I hope that I don't pull a muscle taking the bike off the rack.
