Lastest I've heard is that most of the major towns in NQ got off more lightly than the were expecting, but some of the smaller towns (Tully for example) really copped it. I haven't heard of anyone being killed so far, but I don't know how much people have been able to assess the damage as yet.

Good to see the damage was less than expected. Still, QLD has had a very unlucky streak with weather lately. Hope it does not portend permanent world wide changes in weather patterns due to human activity.
