cheap jerseys

Has anyone ever ordered from cycling-jersey.net? All their jerseys and bibs are priced at $27.99. Sounds kind of cheap. Any problems with your order or the quality of the jerseys?

Wow those are some awesome prices, I'd also like to know other people's experience with them.

Ok, now two people are waiting for replies to this thread.

Three.

Based on the language on the web site, for example,

RETURNS ACCEPT
PROVIDING ANY NOT SATISFIED

I would not want to have to deal with customer service if there were a problem with my order.

I order stuff from these guys and I have had no problems. Jerseys are around $20

If you click on "contact us", it gives zero contact information- no phone, no location, nothing. I don't even know what country they're in. And that being the case, it sounds like a scam website. If they actually want to sell real merchandise to people, that's a terrible way to do it.

A website might have their own jerseys for cheap. If they're selling namebrand jersesys that everyone else has for $80, and their price is $28, that's a fairly good sign of a ripoff of some kind.

It might be harder for the jerseys, but on the bike websites, you can check with the manufacturers and see if the website is one of their dealers. Of course, that's hard to confirm when a place won't tell you what country they're supposedly in.

I suspect that they are located on the Moon.

check the returns section on nashbar or just look for clearance/sale items. why chance it with a site that has zero reputation?

How does a site get a reputation if we all wait for it to get a reputation? ;)

You go first...

I've bought a number of Nashbar jerseys of different types; all on sale from various annual or semi-annual clearances. I've still got 'em all.... I don't think I paid more than 20 bucks for any of them.

Sent them a message through the email 'contact us' portal on their site: Where are you located?
No response.
They are located on the Moon.
Or, maybe they are in Libya - that would explain the lack of a response.

Went sniffing with Opera's built-in Web of Trust type feature. Has a clean record- meaning no one using the feature has reported the site as either fraudulent or malware. Of course, there is not that many Opera users compared to IE, FF, or Chrome...

But based upon the language in the first sentence on the home page, I'd would be leery of doing any kind of business with them.

Just check the Who Is info (google who is ip and use one of the free sites that show up). Check who the site is registered to (the Whois info), not just the service it was registered with or the geographical location of the server.

In this case, the site is registered to someone located in China.

You get what you pay for, unless it's on clearance. I'll buy clearance jerseys from my LBS, Nashbar, or Sierra Trading Post, but I'd stay away from these and the cheap ebay knockoff jerseys.
