Odds and Endos- Am I out of the loop, what happened to them?

I bought a set of nicely built wheels from Mike Garcia at Odds and Endos about 8 years ago. The wheels are on my cyclocross bike and still roll true even after riding offroad plenty of time and many miles on-road...never had a spoke wrench touch them. So what happened to Odds and Endos and/or Mike? I went to oddsandendos.com and it is longer up. Maybe this is old news as it has been a while since I interacted with Mike, but if you know what happened let me know. Thanks.

Who?

I googled a bit and lots of people ask the same question. The only current contact seems to be an ebay seller called oddsandendos.

I believe Mike was based out of Florida at the time. I don't recall what city though. The above ebay seller is out of Tampa Bay, so that is probably him. I'm just wondering if he screwed people and closed up shop, or if he just decided to do something else or work for someone else, etc.

Then it probably wouldn't hurt for you to email him via eBay and see if it's the same guy.

Well the last time I emailed him a couple of years ago for a price quote he never replied. I can try emailing him again. I just wanted to know if there was something fishy going on with him or his website.

Why should there be? If you have no evidence to suggest that there was, why leave such suggestion where google searches on the guy will find it? Realistically, if there was a problem of ANY kind, wouldn't the searches Doohickie have done been full of complaints? The guy probably just had a lot going on in his life, like a family illness, and decided to cut back - to maybe take a job and build a few wheels still for fun and ebay them.

I searched as well before I posted. It seemed odd that a business that was discussed quite a bit years ago just disappeared. I thought maybe i missed something in my searches. I already said that Mike built the best wheels I've used and I just remembered he also built a front wheel for my mountain bike which has been perfect. I mean no slander, just curious as I myself have been out of the bike forums loop for a few years.
