but I was planning a 30 miler today. sound familiar?

worked the weights & machines at the GYM yesterday including inclined pushups & pullups then went to work last night pulling; culling & cutting lumber. had a hard time getting out of my car & into the house at the end of my shift. I have today & tonight off so I can do what I want and soak for hours if necessary after the ride.

guess I'll give my self another hour before I venture out ... (watching Will Ferrel in: "Stranger Than Fiction")

Sometimes a bike ride will loosen up the muscles, but not always. Take it slow and easy, and you may actually feel better tonight. Follow up the ride with that soak in the tub.

I've noticed after a long ride, I can be pretty sore a couple of days later, but if I get out and ride, it actually helps with that. It hurts the most when I just sit around.

I found a bike ride really does help loosen up some sore muscles, except if I did heavy weight traing in my calves the day before. The constant RPM movement and use while riding makes it worse.

yeah, the couch was killing my butt.

well, i got out but not as far as I wanted but it's nice to know I have a new low traffic loop to play with. lot's of climbing out of the saddle including one sic hill that kicks my a** every time, but then rewards me with outrageous max mph's.

too many stops for texting and calling work to reply to their request to come in on my day off ... duh ... don't think so!

47 degrees & sunny
19.42 miles
37.0 max mph (yeah baby)
14.1 avrg mph (no texting next time)
1 hr 22 min (no texting next time)

new shorts under my headwind pants pass the test.
