Trek 4.5 vs the "old" madone

Hi everyone, I hope I am in the right place on the form. I have an opportunity to buy a new trek 4.5 for a really really good deal. If I do I will replace the shimano w/ sram force which I already own. I also have wanted a "old" 5.2 madone for some time and have come across a great used frame set. Does anyone have experience w/ both these bikes? how do they compare outside the fact one is made in the USA and one is not.
Thanks

The new 4.5 Madones have the ANT+ DuoTrap Speed/Cadence sensor integrated into the chainstay. I believe that some of the older 5.2 Madones lacked that feature. Something to check on if you're interested in that.
