Where is the frame size printed on the Trek 1.2 Frame?

Random enough question, as I actually own this bike and have forgotten what size it is. All I know is it's right for me! I live in Australia now but the bike is in the UK so I'm trying to match it up so I can buy a new bike. My Dad hasn't been able to find the number, either 52 or 54.

I can't believe it's too difficult to locate, I know I've seen it and it's not exactly secreted away somewhere weird. A precise location would be awesome guys...

Solve the mystery for me? Thanks!!

David

Usually stickers on the seat tube right below the toptube. I usually peel mine. Maybe you did too and forgot.

Get your father to measure it for you.

I'm presuming you don't have a spreadsheet of measurements for the bicycle yet ... have your father measure the whole bicycle for you, not just the one measurement, and enter them into a spreadsheet or something so you can find an exact match.

What year is yours? I have a 2011 1.2, and the sticker is right on the seat tube. You can't really see it in this picture, but it's the silver sticker about an inch or two below the top tube...

Thanks for the answers guys! I think measuring it up might be an issue because he wouldn't know whether to measure from the centre of tubes or the ends etc (yes, even when I explained it to him - he'd want to get it down to the millimetre and it would be a traumatically frustrating international phone call complete with infuriating one second delay!). But i'll try. Maybe an e-mail he can print and take down to the shed by torch light. Northern Ireland is in almost perpetual darkness, doesn't help.

I'm not sure what year it is, I think 2009. But if it came with a sticker, it's definitely still on there, I'm not a peeler This is becoming more of an obsession. I really know I've seen it a million times and just want him to spot it so I don't think I'm going mad grr! Thanks anyway for taking the time to reply guys. Anyone with a possibly 2009 Trek 1.2 feel free to give exact directions or pics.................

Centres ... always centres. That's standard operating practice in the engineering world.

And why would a phone call come into it if you've got email?

See this thread:

Especially this little suggestion in the thread:

And this chart that can be printed out:
