Bikes: Had a Surly Cross Check - was totaled in recent accident. Sadly now just a Fuji Crosstown as a backup bike.

Good bike shoes - NOT clip in

I like to ride with straps. Not a fan of clipping in. I'm riding longer, and need a stiffer shoe. What are some good choices?

TIA

episodic, Look for a pair of mountain bike shoes that don't have the area for the cleats already opened up on the sole. You may need to modify the tread pattern if your pedals also have a cleat.
