Quick-Release For Tires

Hi,

Can't seem to find any, so I am probably wrong about this.

Do they make Quick-Release mechanisms for hubs that are Not hollow ?
(The type of hub that just has a threaded stub out each side, and not hollow)

I seem to remember back many years ago that they did.
Are they still available ? If so, from who, please ?

Thanks,
bob

The nearest thing to a quick release for solid axles would be something like this.

Just be sure to get the correct threading. I think I read somewhere else that you have an old Fuji. Depending on how old, the front axle could be either 5/16" or 3/8 inch. The rear will almost certainly be 3/8 x 26TPI if it's a solid axle.
More wing nuts here.

Wing nuts.

Sounds like something Roscoe P. Coletrane would say, huh?
