Yeah. I love the movie, I'm pulling another absurd shift...25 hours straight, so i think I might pop in Office Space and enjoy it while I sit here and do a bunch of nothing.

Good news!!

Both the Hummer H2 and the Ford "Freestyle" allow you to participate in an active lifestyle.
The commercials show them carrying bicycles.....Thats it, I'm going out and buying one! Thank god these vehicles can carry bikes, now I can start riding.

(with sarcasm)

Actually the bikes are for when you run out of gas in the H2 with it's 10 MPG.

Yep, they should include them with all Hummers, kinda like having a spare tire.

ROFL! Nice one...

As for TV spots with bicycles prominently featured, I can think of 2:
- New Mexico Tourism board (you can see it here: https://www.newmexico.org/index2.php - click on "new video" button).
- Michelob Ultra has the aforementioned bike race spot - that's a pretty cool ad IMO.

Canon copiers.

Does anyone wonder why we notice them? Does the rest of the population really care???

Edit: Just saw one in a UPS commercial.

Edit again (Gosh, I watch too much TV): Canon cameras

Oh I think that's the Yoplait/Race for the Cure ad you're talking about. Where she's on a trail and stops to eat some yogurt?

I think there's one for a prescription cream for genital herpes. I kid you not.

Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Krusty gets canceled and he says to the producer of an ad for a hemorroids cure: I can be the "After" guy. Hey! I can ride a bike again!"

Well, that's a good thing. I'd imagine riding a bike with raging genital herpes could be downright uncomfortable!

Especially if you're a female. Where's that "Bicycle Smile" thread now?

I just saw one where they have a bunch of guys out on a ride and they're talking to one of them, but I missed most of it, so I don't know what it was for! Some kind of food maybe. One thing I notice is that cyclists in ads usually wear plain, mono-colored jerseys with no logos, like the ones you get from MEC or Performance.

I think I've seen that one too, wabbit - and forgot what it was for. I'll have to keep a lookout for it now. As for the logos, that's typical in most all advertising unless it's a sports figure and it's in their contract to be shown with sponsor's logos (think NASCAR). Don't want to give another company free advertising, after all - not to mention possible copyright infringement issues...

Yeah, In the Honda commercial, the Accord passed a pace line of about 5 road cyclist and they were all wearing, I think, solid yellow jerseys and black lycra shorts. BTW, the Accord seemed to pass with plenty of room.

There are some commercials that use bikes for lifestyle/image
Gap did a comercial with a bunch of good-looking "Gappy" models riding cruisers through the city.
Clarks shoes in the UK did a nice one with a fashionable girl on a bike in a place that looked like Paris (turns out to be Preston).
The ones I hate are where fat guy falls off his bike in contrived accident. I cant even remember the product.
