There another Windsor road bike that I found somewhere else that's only $100, but the ad is 10 days old, and I'm guessing it's gone by now. anyway, what can you tell me about a 10 speed fuji bike (the link in bold letters). The guys says it's a 'great bike' but doesn't have any pictures. Would this be a good deal? |
"Fuji 10-speed" sounds like one of those vintage bikes from the '80s or '90s.. Probably with either stem shifters or downtube shifters.
That Fuji Absolute 3.0 in your last link is more recent, from the late 2000's, with rapid-fire indexed shifters mounted on the handlebars. |
are there ways to predetermine whether or not it's stolen?
|
Do any of the bikes fit? Fit is the most important feature to be concerned with when buying any bike.

Ok, new list.
http://desmoines.craigslist.org/bik/2330719269.html http://desmoines.craigslist.org/bik/2331546431.html I think the specialized bike would last me longer. Plus I like handlebars more as oppose to the 70s and 80s handlebars. The size of the frame is 54 cm, which is good enough for me (I'm 6'1). On the orange one, I don't know what the frame size is really. It says it's 25 in, which is ~63 cm.. |
At 6'1, I'd be thinking more in the 56-58cm range, but that's just me.

If seller refuses to divulge serial number, avoid buying. |
