May == Bike Month & Bike To Work Day / Week

I'm trying to help my HR rep at work get together some mass emails and brochures for my company to prepare people for May. It is bike month, and the 14-21st is bike week ( I don't understand why that is ) and the 20th is bike to work day.

Either way, I need some suggestions on how to help teach people some safety tips to commuting to work for the first ( and perhaps only ) time, as well as long term commuting ideas. The other side of the problem is to help people understand the benefits from riding in general, in case they are not able/willing to commute some day's in May.

What websites do you recommend, or PDF documents or just suggestions in general?

Basically more stuff like this.
