Jeans and Khakis made for biking
As someone who is car-free, I've been searching for men's casual clothing that looks good enough to wear when going out at night or meeting friends, yet comfortable to ride in, that also wicks away sweat well-enough. I noticed that Swrve and Rapha make jeans make for biking (a great concept).

The only problem is that they don't make sizes larger than a 38" waist. I need a 40". I guess this could be a small incentive for me to loose some weight.
However, I'm still wondering if there are other companies that make jeans and Khaki pants, designed for biking.
Thanks

Haven't seen them recently (haven't looked) but years ago they made cycling padded underwear, sort of girdle like. Maybe try a pair under regular clothes?

Rapha stuff is nice but obscenely expensive. I have some Swrve stuff which is more reasonably priced and good quality.
Check out Betabrands commute pants offering they have larger sizes I think, https://www.betabrand.com/bike-to-work.html

Any slacks and some trouser clips to keep the cuff out of the chain.
the zip off shorts /trousers, perhaps, ? , but khaki will show dirt,
Color: black will help there..

Yes, they are still out there. It's actually like briefs, but with a light pad. They are not intended for riding a great distance, but are good for errands, going out, etc.

Check out RailRiders Yukon work pants or Backcountry Khakis . They come in larger waist sizes, have fast-drying nylon material, reinforced seat & knees, and a gusseted crotch.

I use/like Svrve.
If you're looking for general athletic/outdoorish stuff (not necessarily bike-specific but they have big sizes and it's dirt-cheap) check out Sportsmansguide.

I think most "fashion" jeans/pants designed for biking tend be a bit of a rip-off.
I find hiking pants, and shorts to work well for biking. They're made of quick-dry materials, come in summer & winter weights, usually have pockets that can be closed in some manner, and better ones will have gusseted crotches. They tend to come in a variety of styles too so if cargo pants aren't your thing (I know they're not mine), you can find ones that just look like normal pants/shorts.
