Searching for the owner
Okay, I posted in SS and fixed gear about a bike I purchased that has me wondering if it isn't stolen. I've done a crude search of the Net, and find all sorts of "register your bike..." sites, and only a few data bases that have listings of stolen bicycles.
I've learned a lot, like enough bikes are stolen in the world that they could be "used as currency." That's bothersome. The bike I got isn't like a Colnago or anything, it's an old steel with matching hubs a computer, etc, and a bike liscense on it. I tried the 5-0 site to see if they list anything, nope. So, where would I go next?

dont worry about if its stolen just ride... if you get the name of who you bought it from its good, so if some one confronts you, you can go and throw a brick through his window.
