How do I measure ride distance and elevation changes?

I've done it before on a mapping site but evidently I didn't bookmark it and now I can't find it. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

If you loose a bookmark, does it roam free? Does it ever come back on its own?

Not normally...I have to hunt mine down and hope it didn't disappear into 403/404 land.

It roams the IRC.net wilderness, surviving of whatever it can byte off of discarded packets, routing from one subnet to another carefully avoiding sniffers and filters until it finds a routing table to call 127.0.0.1

I use mytracks android app for running, hiking an cycling. Does a pretty good job and is fairly accurate. It's also free

there are other good apps also, SportyPal is the other one that comes to mind.
