I have an older Avenir computer that works good except it needs resetting. Would like to get setup info for this Avenir AC5. I have been able to set everything except wheel size.
This newb would appreciate any help:) |

$5 free shipping. I have one on each bike. http://www.dealextreme.com/p/sunding...edometer-24075 |
my vetta resets by removing the battery for more than 30 seconds.

I have a generic computer that I've misplaced the instruction for. Does every computer have it's own set of codes for wheel size, or is there a standard list I can go by?
|
Why not get a new computer? They're dirt cheap.
|
$10 at Wally World.
On mine, if you hold both buttons down for like 3 seconds, it clears everything. |
The codes are the wheel size so they are the same on most if not all bike computers

2065 is probably the tyre circumference in millimetres. Many comps I've had use that as their input, not codes.

Explain please. Every computer I've had has used codes like "2065". How does that translate to wheel size?

Per Sheldon Brown's site, apparently they don't all use circumference in mm like mine, though.
|
I'll try the mm measurement. If that doesn't work I guess I'll have to replace a perfectly good computer.
