Books B-15 at junk yard!

I found a Brooks B15 saddle at the junk yard when I was dropping off an old TV. It was attached to a Falcon, Im guessing 1970s vintage, center pull brakes, Shimano wheels, the rear derailleur was broken off, the front derailleur was Campy.

I only took the saddle. My question is: What do I do now? The saddle is in relatively good shape. The leather is dry! I have my ideas of what to do but I would like input from those of you with experience.

Thanks

This is a tough one. Anything that nourshes the leather will soften it.
If someone comes along that has a better idea, ignore this> Melt Proofide with a hairdryer. Warm the leather GENTLY with the dryer. The saddle xhould be warm NOT hot. Spread the Proofide over both sides of the saddle, one side at a time. Play the dryer over the saddle to keep the Proofide liquid so it can soak in.You need to get the Proofide deep in the laether, it will take a while. Let the saddle sit for a couple days somewhere warm (not hot). You will then need to tighten it up, Brooks makes a wrench for doing that.
-Disclaimer-
while I have restored a bunch of old leather articles, horse saddles, boots, etc.... the leather in a Brooks saddle is under tension. How old dried out leather will react to this is probably going to be to stretch all over the place. It's a long shot.
