Wahoooo - 2 year search is over at last!

Just thought I'd mention that having spent the last two years trying on every single cycling helmet in the north-west of England, I've found one that fits !

I went for a wander around Halfords this afternoon because I was bored at work. I thought here goes nothing and tried on a 2005 Bell Alchera in black which were new. It fits absolutely perfectly - I'm so chuffed!

I don't like the way you never feel hot all over at the same time. I do take a lot of baths though, sometimes 2 or 3 on a quiet Sunday .

Water pressure is terrible in the UK - the only good shower I found in 30 years was an american style one in a posh hotel in London. One of the benefits of coming over here was that the showers were better. The loo flushing system is much weaker though so it's not all good
