At what price point is it worthwhile to Ebay a bike?

I've currently got a couple fairly nice bikes on Craigslist, but I live in a low population area, so I'm getting zero interest in them so far. At what pricepoint is it worthwhile to go through the trouble of having a bike packed and shipped?

I really don't want to ship anywhere so right now it's seeming like my options are to take much much less than the bikes are worth, or just tear them down for parts.

Try putting them on CL in the nearest large urban area to you. If someone wants them they'll drive

This!!!

I've found a number of things 60-90 miles away from me this way though they were listed "local to me".

also don't forget to put tag words in your CL ads....

ebay might be your best bet .. use the reserve option so you don't give the bike away

best of luck

You could post it on ebay as "Local Pick up Only"

Good luck.

What'ya got and where you at?

On the C&V forum there's a sale/trade section and guys who facilitate. I just bought and shipped a crank to OR for a guy who found it on MY local CL.
