Mounting an E-Reader
I've got my Trek 2.1 ready for indoor training, I've added this to the handlebars to expand my available real estate:
http://www.bdopcycling.com/Dashboard%20Genie.asp I'm curious if anyone has suggestions on how to best mount an e-Reader? I'll be getting an Amazon Fire, so I have few weeks to get this right. While I think velcro might be a quick-n-dirty solution, I would also be interested if people can share pics of their success stories. |
Ram mount is my go to for mounting solutions: http://www.ram-mount.com/SearchResul...9/Default.aspx They are bulky but work nice.

Just keep it out from under your head. You'll sweat a lot, and that's not good for electronics.

E-reader, iPad, books, magazines, etc. don't necessarily need to be mounted to the bike. You might also consider using or rigging up a separate stand.

What's so hard to figure out about that********************??? |
I'd use a music stand if you have one. I also use the music stand to hold any repair info/books/printouts I'm using if I'm doing a repair on my bike or other thing that I've never done before. I put it alongside the repair stand or the item I'm working on.

I put mine on a tall stool nearby. Also works well for coffee cups or whatever.
Might put a Ram mount on the trike to use the tablet as a GPS/MapMyRide gizmo... |
