I'm sure J-Crew will have one soon. Just hold tight dude.

Too bad Swobo is no more.
I have a pair of Swobo wool socks that were my favorite pair until I snagged one on a barbed-wire fence and tore a hole in it :(. Never did plunk down the cash for one of their Jerseys. Too late now. Got my eye on one of those Surly jerseys though... -Trevor |
I wear socks labeled 'smartwool'. Do you guys have them down there?

From what I understand, they used to be pretty good, but it seems the quality has gone downhill since. I'm still searching for a sock that I like... |

velogear.com and vintage velos also have jerseys, if you have the dosh to shell out for a Molteni repro.

Just like taking a tinkle, sometimes you shake it dry, sometimes a drop gets loose. Really, does it matter? Only if the stain shows... only if it shows. Anywhoo.. I was in love with the Rivendale wool jersey until I saw it cost 140 dollars. Jesus Christ on a cracker, 140 bucks? YOUCH!!! 165 knows of a guy on Ebay who sells wool jersey's cheap. Perhaps if you bribe him with libations, he'll pony up the name.. |
There's a bunch of people selling old jerseys on ebay, some are wool, some just look like wool.
|
Yeah, I wouldn't buy the Riv jersey. But the LS wool T's aren't badly priced.
|
Well this is off topic too, except im looking for something, perhaps someone will know? I need some 25.4 moustache bars, rivendale is out of stock, harris is 70 bucks, and van dessel, my preferred is out too. 30 bucks > 70. 50 i can do but damn, 70?
OK, sorry to sneak in but not real sorry. |
Perhaps you could create a thread of your own?
|
Ok, just checking out some of Rivendell's other wooly offerings the description on this one made me laugh. http://rivendellbicycles.com/webalog...ing/22281.html

Well i could do that, and if i had any shame i would. But perhaps someone will read this thread and spot my little request and say, wow, i have one of those rusting in my garage.
I don't really think thats going to happen so i would rather not waste a whole thread for it. BTW, William, i was reading ur blog and u are a very honest writer, i enjoyed it. Now where have i gone with this thread? All over the damn place, that's where! And the thing is, ever listen to Uriah heap? Old band, the lyrics to a song, stealin? I was stealin when i should have been buying. I look back on my life now and wish i had been buying more, stealing less. Or Talking heads, once in a lifetime song about, well, once in a lifetime, that's how the days go by, like water going underground. OK, im rambling now. |
