Is there a helmet "universal" visor ?

I searched and didnt find any info if there are helmet visors that cam be put on any helmet ? I can get a great deal on a helmet I love that fits me perfect but it does not have a visor. I like being able to have a visor from time to time. I know lots of helmets come with one but id like to know if theres any universal visors ? Thanks.

I just use a baseball hat that I have cut the cloth panels out of and pulled the little button on its top off, it works well, and is cheap.

Back in the day when MTB helmets with visors first came on the scene they used to sell add-on visor kits but I don't see any these days.

There are a bunch of helmet-specific visors that might be made to fit your visor with a velcro kit with strong adhesive and perhaps a little trimming of plastic with an Xacto or Dremel or whathaveyou.

I sometimes wear an intact ball cap under my helmet, works fine for me.

+1. The longer bill of a bicycling cap, than of a cycling cap, works well to keep my eyeglasses clear in the rain, shields the glare of the sun, and adds warmth as needed.

I've used a baseball cap under my helmet, mainly when it was raining.

Cycling cap. This isn't very complicated or hard, unless you want it to be.

there are headband visors too, put one on , then put your helmet on.
but cotton cycling caps are the easy way..
