Cycling video camera/Daily use camera
Hi! I want to get a new camera to replace my cruddy little $40 helmet cam that I bought about a year ago. I was looking for a point-and-shoot of some kind, so that I could also use it day-to-day, as carrying a t1i everywhere, much less mounting it on my bike, is not an option. Do any of you have a suggestion? I tried my sister's Canon ELPH 100 the other day and the results were pretty good, I'm pleased with the quality but it gets out of focus a lot and it's not the greatest at image stabilization (though it is better than a lot of cameras, and it is party attributed to where the mount was placed; and the quality of said mount). Any suggestions? I ride a Trek 2.1, so it's all road usage, though occasionally I might strap it to my friend's mountain bike when we go up the fire roads around here. It needs to have good weight distribution, image quality, and image stabilization, without being too heavy. Thanks!

LET'S ROLL
Where do you mount your cameras? Helmet mounting resolves
a lot of vibration issues. For a point & shoot camera, I was happy
w/ my Samsung HZ30W. I probably would still be using it if I
didn't get caught in a heavy rain w/ the camera in my pocket.
Currently I'm playing w/ a GoPro HD Hero 960 which is waterproof
