Philips SafeRide headlight, about 400 lux with a carefully shaped beam pattern instead of a retina-searing round flashlight pattern. (Most headlights in the U.S. compete on raw power output, with no concern for how much of the light goes up in the sky or into the eyes of oncoming traffic. The Philips SafeRide is a huge leap forward, with a beam pattern as well-controlled as most car headlights. Besides avoiding a glare hazard, it puts as much useful light on the road as most 1,000-lux headlights.)

I got fenders for my new commuter. I'm going to leave them under the tree along with the bike and toolbox hoping that Santa will install them.

I just ordered one of those in the generator version for my son's bike...

Get the shop cleaned out? I already have my bikey Christmas presents, a bunch of NOS Sturmey Archer hubs. I am off the week after Christmas, so hopefully I might, just might get something done.

I asked Santa for a Cateye SingleShot headlight and showed him where to find it on Amazon.

I used to have one but it fell off the bike on the way to work (I hadn't clipped it into the holder completely). It survived the fall to the road but, while I was waiting for traffic to clear so I could run out and grab it, it was fatally run over by a car.

A Brooks B17 Imperial in honey. Gonna move the black B17 to the new MTB. Is that stupid? Nah, I'm an older guy and I think I'm going to end up riding the MTB like a hybrid for the trails and gravel roads and not do so many tricks and jumps

For the Orbea (road bike) new gold jockey wheels (although the mechanic forum told me it's a waste of money ) and a couple of extra blingy bits.
For the Cannondale (hybrid) a new Thomson Set back seat post and some more blingy bits.
