New house, But.......
Just moved, I am happy beacuse im only a block away from a GGNRA trail head.
But the house is in top of a hill, a 330' high hill, 12% slope or 330 rise in half a mile.
Climbing it is fun, Im geting faster too!
BTW; this is the GGNRA (golden gate national recreationall area) in the S.F. bay area

That's pretty much my situation. I live at elevation 500' on top of a plateau. All the ways to get up to me are 9%-12% avg climbs. I admit that sometimes I'll wimp out and load the bike into the Jeep and drive to the bottom to the Park-N-Ride lot.

I kinda like it because it forces me to focus on my spin, and i ride up it every day from school.
