Folding tire question
Hi all,
My Safari has 700 X 46 Vittoria tires. HUGE! I am thinking of going to a 700 X 42 or 38. For carrying a spare, are there any tires close to these sizes that are foldable? Thanks, Paul |
Learn the technique and any steel bead tire can be 1/3 of it's size.. still Round.
people store band-saw blades , by the same manner, fwiw. |
google this "foldable 700 x 38", i did. just a start.

Any reason not to go down to a 28-32mm?
I put 26's on a bike that had 37's with no problem. My rim width is 22mm, which is pretty wide. I wouldn't go smaller than 26, but I have no qualms with 26. |
