I bought a Pearl Izumi cap to help control sweat in my eyes.Well,they only come "One size fits all." What a joke they are.It would keep the sweat away.But I couldn't wear it for more than 10-15 minutes.The elastic band cuts into my ear like a hack saw.

I've had no luck finding a manufacturer that realizes there are different size customers.Has anybody found larger caps that work?

I have a Halo boonie rag, and the design is such that one size truely does fit all. It works pretty well with sweat, though I don't live in a very humid area. You might give it a try. I think they also make a cap, but that might get you back to the sizing issue.

I've been using bandanas for a few years. They work for me and at $1 each I can't go wrong.

Head sweats, it's a brand.. I got their Cycle caps, with a brim..

the Cotton traditional Cycle caps are OK too..

newer hipster wool ones may be OK, but The brims look too flat for me.
not stiff and sticking out enough..

When it's cold, I wear a warmer Headsweats cap https://www.headsweats.com/products/Winter-Dome.html, or a Pearl Izumi microsensor cap which completely covers the ears.

I like my Headsweats also, but i don't use the skull cap. I use the type that you tie around the head. The thing I like about it is I can decide how tight I want it and it gives some neck protection also.

I too have a head too big for "one size fits all". I also sweat more then most. I like Halo headbands for controlling sweat, even if I have to take a few with me during summer rides. For me, cool weather is the struggle as winter rides can be down to 20 degrees or so and its the only time I need a skullcap. I bought a Halo skullcap a few years back, but it doesn't cover my ears without tugging mercilessly. This year I bought one of their headbands that cover the ears and I think my struggles are over. Skullcap worn above the ears in combination with the new headband and I'm good.

The whole "one size fits all" mantra is really annoying. At 7 5/8ths or so with hair falling out, my noggin is really not that big. If only it were true that big heads had more brains....

Used to worry about sweat in my eyes until I figured out that drinking enough water while riding alleviates the problem. For me, the problem wasn't the sweat, it was the salt in the sweat.

I use Headsweats as well, partly because they are a local company. Works well though.

As a joke my wife bought me some "night caps" because I complained about my bald head getting cold while I slept. They work great under the helmet to absorb sweat. They are stretchy cotton and thin like underwear.

I have a *small* head. All the cycling caps are too big for me. Hopefully with spring coming, the stores will have a better selection of sweat suckers. I think cotton is not the best choice, but a material that dries quickly.

Actually, for an item that will be worn in the heat, I've found cotton to be the best material. I like to rinse mine in cool water. I had some synthetic skull caps and they irritated my skin. If you think about it, when you wear a synthetic cap you are grinding plastic into your sweaty scalp with the aid of a salt solution. My tender skin didn't like that.

I find cotton clings to my skin when it's wet.And it seems to stay wet.

I am really pissed that the manufacturers make only one size.If it doesn't fit your head -tough luck.Sure glad they don't do that with shoes and pants.

EEEWWWW! You make is sound so doggone horrid! But I think the poster who said cotton doesn't dry out makes polyester the first choice. I do have hair. It would be nice if the head-rag dried out a bit if I stopped for 20 minutes for a break.

One size fits none. That halo cap would probably cover my ears. I finally found a light weight cap with a brim that fit me at REI.... in the kiddie section.

I just ordered a SweatVac Ventilator Cap.I guess I'll need to use the "hit or miss" method.Some reviews I read said it fit their fat heads.Hopefully it will fit a medium size fat head.
