Deal too good to be true?

I found this website called rotospeedltd.com they have a cannondale caad9 with105 components for $635 and a caad10 with ultegra setup for $1130. Has anybody purchased from this website before? Couldn't find any feedback anywhere on the internet. Was wondering if anyone out there had any info. Thanks

Not at all. I really want to get into road racing. Just looking to see if anybody out there's been dooped by these guys before I make any purchases from them. A deal that good sounds pretty shady.

Cannondale does not usually authorized the sale of their bikes thru the internet or mail order. Specially at those prices, there is a smell accompanying that website.

Yeah. That's what I figured. Any ideas on a road bike under $1500 with decent components? I commute 30 miles daily. Riding a road conversion. Would like to broaden my horizon a bit with some racing.

What is available in your area? Visit some bike shops...for that budget, you will have a pretty decent selection.

The Fuji Roubaix is a great bike. But fit is first and foremost. What other bikes are available in your area?

Too bad that small fortune from a Nigerian prince didn't show up on my doorstep or otherwise I'd just order one and see what happens.

To me, the entire thing looks shady...that could be just me though. That address listed above is kind of shady to me.

For many of the bikes on the website: "In Stock; Estimate delivery time 3-5 business days."

And looks like that domain was just recently registered. I'd stay far away.

If you're interested in the Cannondales as in the original site you asked about, REI has the Caad 10-5 with Shimano 105 except the brakes and crankset for $1500. If you join their membership $20 they estimate that you will be refunded $150 at the end of the year.

In Singapore? We don't know their laws, or where the guy normally sells to. Maybe he got a decal making kit to turn out his own Cannondales.

I'm sure it has at least 105 components.

Bikes Direct has a 105-equipped Schwinn Le Tour Legacy for $799 to your door. Chro-Moly frame and forks, which is good for some of us. BD is easy to locate ....

https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/..._legacy_xi.htm

Man, I wouldn't want to deal with somebody in Singapore if the thing got trashed in transit, or turned out to be a "Kanondale" with Shimonzo 106 components.

At my lbs I tried a 2011 CAAD5 105 and it was priced between 1200-1300 if I remember correctly. Might be worth hitting a few stores and checking out the last year models.
