Warning.....some bragging ahead.............I'll be 65 in June, I ride with mostly 25-45 year olds (some racers, triatheletes, etc.) and it has really resulted in me getting quite strong and fast for a big old guy! I average 130-160 miles weekly and, for some reason, am in the habit of always pushing myself. Yesterday, 306 watt output for one hour with avg speed(paceline)was 26.4 mph, no big hills. Is anybody else having similar experiences? I see nothing wrong in discussing one's performance numbers, if known, for purposes of comparison and baselines. Connecting it with age is part of it. BTW, fun post! Ten for me!

I've been in box 10 for quite a few years. Not many cyclists in that group in the areas I ride around here.
But I saw and rode with lots of them when I was in Florida in February and March.
